Smiths Plastics (PTY) Ltd has produced resin injection moulded parts since 1977.

More than a million components are produced each month. Products range from delicately balanced air conditioning rotors to large,
complex, thin-walled mouldings and aesthetic parts, such as large door panels, glove compartments, centre consoles, engine cam covers and many more.

Smiths Plastics (PTY) Ltd has in excess of 60 moulding machines ranging from 100 to 2500 tonnes of clamping pressure.

Painted Plastics

Smiths Plastics (PTY) Ltd run two high tech
painting plants, where components such as door handles, trims and grilles are painted and matched to the vehicle colour.

Chrome Plastics

Smiths Plastics (PTY) Ltd run an automated
plating plant to deposit microporous chrome onto plastic trim components such as door handles, grilles and mirror covers.

Nature of Business

We are a manufacturer of automotive interior and exterior trim resin components. Resin components are moulded for application in the hot engine compartment
environment.
